Whenever I do a shoot I ask people to bring something which means a lot to them. Sheri told me that a few years ago, their parents renewed their wedding vows, and whilst their brother's were all given really nice pocket watches as a gift, they were given a really beautiful bangle. When Sheri lovingly mentioned too her dad "Hey, you know you can get us all the same things, right?" Their dad decided to give them the pocket watch he has worn on the day.

The story really moved me, such a gentle gesture of love and acceptance. I really wanted to capture a picture of Sheri holding the watch as it held such significance.
