Why can't I make myself do the things that are good for me? The knowing - doing pitfall.
How many times have you found yourself saying you know what you need to get done, and it just isn't happening.
Knowing and doing live in completely different parts of our brain. This is why sometimes we don't treat ourselves with the same kind of morals and ethics that we would apply to everybody else. There is probably a fair bit of you that knows that your lower back really needs to do some Pilates, but actually getting down and doing it is a completely different story.

“Nothing Ever Works”: why most "self care" does not stick (PSA How to stop the Self-Abandonment Loop)
a reason why they wouldn't try coaching or frankly sign up for another course is this thought that they have, which is, "I don't want this to be another thing that doesn't work."

What 200 Episodes Taught Me About Real Change
tell you a few things that are true that I've learnt from recording 200 episodes of a podcast that I never thought that I was gonna make in the first place.

Stopping People Pleasing Before It Leads to Burnout and Resentment
top framing people pleasing as altruism. I know that a lot of people who consider themselves to be people pleasers do so because they think that it is being nice to other people, and they think that being a people pleaser shows how much you care about people.

How to Make Decisions Without Second-Guessing Yourself for Three Days
My recommendation for you to be able to stop people pleasing, if this is something that you struggle with, is firstly to stop framing people pleasing as altruism. I know that a lot of people who consider themselves to be people pleasers do so because they think that it is being nice to other people, and they think that being a people pleaser shows how much you care about people.

Climate Anxiety - The Panic - Action - Freeze trap
I am hosting a workshop on climate anxiety. If you're someone who reads and sees a lot of the news and just wants to switch off, and you're also someone whose heart breaks every time you can see something going on, either in another planet or in your own garden, and we can see the causes and it doesn't seem like anyone in power is making any changes whatsoever, this is gonna be a workshop that's really useful for you.
